Who's behind The Tourism Summit?

Innovators, pioneers and hospitality insiders

The Tourism Summit is an event co-organised by South West tourism organisations and businesses with a passion for the future of travel. After everything we've been through, and the continued challenges we face, we wanted to develop a new type of tourism event that provides hope for the future, with inspirational ideas and practical advice on how to move forward sustainably and profitably.

The main event organisers and headline sponsors include South West tourism businesses, Soundview Media and Clockwork Marketing, along with Acronymns and other leading hospitality experts. The event will also be supported by our event facilitator, Zoe Wray

The Purpose

Our purpose is to bring together and build a community of tourism game-changers and pioneers, leading the way to a brighter future where inclusivity, sustainability and authenticity are forefront and promoted for the benefit of all who work and run businesses in the South West tourism sector and beyond.

The Tourism Summit is a space for new ideas, where some of the sector's leading pioneers will present concepts, frameworks and best practice examples of how you can futureproof your business. The Summit will be held in a new purpose built event space, Winslade Park, providing an inspiring location away from the day-to-day to explore tourism for good.

Themes will include inclusivity, sustainability and authenticity as well as an exploration of B Corp certification, what it is, how to get it and how it can benefit your bottom line.

Why you should attend

A tourism event like no other

Through a series of talks and workshops, The Tourism Summit will demonstrate how tourism businesses of tomorrow will be a force for good. They will be authentic, inclusive, sustainable and as a result - more profitable.

"It’s so important to stay on top of developments and innovations as far as sustainability is concerned. Things often move apace and we are always on the look out for new ideas that we can weave into the management of the estate. We’re also always keen to meet, chat and learn which has, of course, been more difficult of late."
